Lady Loneliness

Dick gets a lot of raises;
he gives them to himself.
Pay Dick more and/or
Dick will pay himself
enough at first for one,
but ladies have expenses.
Ladies don’t come free
if they come at all
and Lady Loneliness
is no cheap date.
As a single man
Dick would have been a bargain.
When he became too single;
that’s where it all began.
